Defibrillator Training and Training Resources

Defibrillators are a vital life-saving piece of equipment. Having a unit on your premises or in remote locations significantly increases the chances of saving a life when someone falls victim to cardiac arrest.

Defibrillators, specifically fully automatic units, have been designed to be used by laypersons, but it is always best to have trained persons on hand where possible. Training units (that do not deliver shocks) can be used in conjunction with training electrode pads and are ideal for practical demonstrations and practise sessions. Allowing people to get used to the look, feel, use and instructions of a unit can help to give confidence to users should they ever have to use a defibrillator in a real life emergency. Additional equipment for defibrillator training units include remote controls, mannequin adapters, mannequins / resusci annes and CPR practice devices.

The Defib Pad also offer training courses at over 300 sites in the UK for individual or smaller groups and in-house group training courses where we will come to you to train your staff.
